Marshall County Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a full-time Manager/General Agent to lead and oversee company operations. This key role reports to the Board of Directors and policyholders with responsibilities including daily operations, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. This role blends administrative duties, customer service, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage company daily operations: policy processing, claims handling, customer service
• Ensure compliance with Minnesota Department of Commerce regulations
• Work with agents, staff, & policyholders to provide exceptional service and support
• Provide financial and operational reports to the Board of Directors
• Lead marketing and outreach efforts to grow the customer base
• Collaborate with package companies, reinsurers and service providers as needed

Qualifications: 

• Active Minnesota Property & Casualty insurance license
• Experience in property/casualty insurance (township mutual experience preferred)
• Familiarity with underwriting and valuation of farm and dwelling risks
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in/promote a collaborative working environment and multitask
• Proficient with office and insurance software systems.
